Do I have to try divviResolve first?
No — you can book a mediator directly. But Resolve is included with your $300 divviModify, so it costs nothing extra to try it first — many couples narrow or settle their dispute before a live session is ever needed.
Why is this different from divviMediate for divorce?
Same $1,500 flat price, different block: modifications book a focused 2-hour session, versus the 3-hour block used for an original divorce. Modification disputes are typically narrower — one or two changed terms, not a full settlement.
What happens if we run past 2 hours?
Additional time is billed at $300/hour. Most modification sessions — narrower in scope than a full divorce — resolve within the 2-hour block.
Are divvi's mediators court-roster-qualified?
Divvi mediators have completed the Utah court-approved domestic mediation qualifications and are court-roster-qualified. We verify each mediator's qualifications individually before they join the network.
What if we still can't agree after the session?
You move to a contested hearing. divvi can connect you with a Utah family law attorney for the remaining disputed terms.
